Draw zones so the doorbell ignores the street and alerts you only for your porch and walkway. Follow the steps below — it takes just a few minutes.

Before you begin#

  • The Halo app and your Wi-Fi password
  • A drill if you are mounting on brick or stucco

Steps#

  1. Open Motion settings#

    App → Doorbell → Motion → Zones.

  2. Draw your zones#

    Drag the corners to cover your porch and path.

  3. Turn on package alerts#

    Get a separate alert when a package is delivered or picked up.

Tip

Lower sensitivity on busy streets to save battery.

Still stuck?#

Tell us whether your doorbell is wired or battery-powered, and your Wi-Fi band (2.4 or 5 GHz).
