Install the Halo Doorbell

Mount the doorbell, connect it to your existing wires or use the battery, then pair it in the app. Follow the steps below — it takes just a few minutes.

Before you begin#

  • The Halo app and your Wi-Fi password
  • A drill if you are mounting on brick or stucco

Steps#

  1. Charge the battery#

    Charge fully with the included USB-C cable (about 5 hours).

  2. Mount the bracket#

    Use the wedge for an angled view toward your porch.

  3. Connect wires (optional)#

    Wired power keeps the battery topped up and rings your indoor chime.

  4. Pair in the app#

    Tap + → Add device → Doorbell and scan the code on the back.

Tip

Mount about 48 inches (1.2 m) above the ground for the best face view.
