If the import stalls, it can resume where it stopped. Here is how to finish it and what usually causes the pause. Follow the steps below — it takes just a few minutes.

Before you begin#

  • WordPress 6.4 or newer and PHP 8.0+
  • Your Envato purchase code (Downloads → License certificate)

Steps#

  1. Reload the importer#

    Lumen → Demos shows “Resume import” when a job was interrupted. Click it.

  2. Check the time limit#

    Hosts that stop scripts after 30 seconds can interrupt image downloads. Ask for 120 seconds.

  3. Skip images if needed#

    Choose “Pages only” — you can replace placeholder images later.

Tip

Security plugins sometimes block the importer’s AJAX requests. Pause them during the import.
