Quickstart: launch your first project
Go from sign-up to a live URL in about five minutes: create a project, connect a repository and deploy.

On this page
This guide walks you through the fastest path to a live app on Acme Cloud. You need an Acme Cloud account and a Git repository with a web app in it — any framework that builds to static files or runs on Node.js 20 works.
Create a project#
Good to know
You can rename a project later; its preview URL keeps working.
Connect your repository#
Acme Cloud deploys every push to your default branch and creates a preview for every pull request.
GitHub and GitLab#
Pick your provider, authorize the Acme Cloud app and select the repository. We only request access to the repositories you choose.
Any other Git host#
Use the CLI instead and deploy from your machine or CI:
npm install -g @acme/cli
acme login
acme deploy --prodCheck your build settings#
We detect most frameworks automatically. If your app needs something different, set it under Settings → Build.
| Setting | Default | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Build command | npm run build | pnpm build |
| Output folder | dist | .next |
| Node.js version | 20 | 22 |
Deploy and share#
Click Deploy. The first build usually takes one to two minutes; later builds reuse the cache and are faster. When it finishes, you get a URL like my-app.acme.app that you can share right away.
Tip
add a custom domain any time under Settings → Domains. HTTPS certificates are issued and renewed automatically.
