Enable two-factor authentication
Protect your account with an authenticator app or a hardware security key.

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second step when you sign in. We strongly recommend it for every account that can deploy.
Turn on 2FA#
- Open Account → Security.
- Click Enable two-factor authentication.
- Scan the QR code with 1Password, Authy or Google Authenticator.
- Enter the six-digit code and save your recovery codes somewhere safe.
Security keys#
You can also register a YubiKey or a passkey on your phone or laptop. Security keys cannot be phished, so they are the safest option.
Require 2FA for the whole workspace#
Owners can require 2FA under Settings → Security. Members without it are asked to set it up the next time they sign in.
