With your license active, Lumen updates from the Dashboard like any WordPress.org theme. Follow the steps below — it takes just a few minutes.

Before you begin#

  • WordPress 6.4 or newer and PHP 8.0+
  • Your Envato purchase code (Downloads → License certificate)

Steps#

  1. Activate your license#

    Lumen → License must show “Active”.

  2. Check for updates#

    Dashboard → Updates → Check again.

  3. Update Lumen Core too#

    The theme and its plugin are updated together to stay compatible.

Tip

Always back up before updating a live store.
