Connect Slack
Post deployment and incident alerts to the Slack channels your team watches.
The Slack integration posts a message when a deployment succeeds, fails or is promoted to production.
Install the app#
- Open Settings → Integrations → Slack.
- Click Add to Slack and approve the permissions.
- Pick a default channel, such as
#deploys.
Choose which events to post#
- Production deployments
- Failed builds
- Preview deployments for pull requests
- Usage alerts
Per-project channels#
Each project can override the default channel in its own settings.
