A blank screen usually means no power to the base — check the breaker, the furnace door and the C wire. Follow the steps below — it takes just a few minutes.

Before you begin#

  • A Phillips screwdriver and the Halo app
  • Power to your heating system switched off at the breaker

Steps#

  1. Check the breaker#

Make sure the breaker for your heating system is on.

  2. Close the furnace door#

Many furnaces cut power when their door switch is open.

  3. Check the C wire#

Without a C wire, Halo’s battery drains. Install the power adapter.
