Lock Nimbus with Face ID or a passcode
Require Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint or a passcode to open Nimbus or a single note.

App lock keeps your notes private even when someone else is using your phone.
Turn on app lock#
- Go to Settings → Privacy → App lock.
- Choose Face ID, Touch ID or fingerprint, and set a backup passcode.
- Pick when to lock: immediately, after one minute or after five minutes.
Lock a single note#
Open the note and tap ⋯ → Lock note. Locked notes are encrypted on your device with a key only you hold.
Warning
We cannot recover a locked note if you forget its passcode.
