Nimbus keeps crashing on launch
Update the app, free up storage and reset the local cache without losing notes.
Crashes on launch are rare and almost always fixed by one of these steps.
Update Nimbus and your phone#
Install the latest version of Nimbus from the App Store or Google Play, and the latest iOS or Android update.
Free up storage#
Nimbus needs at least 500 MB of free space to open its database safely.
Reset the local cache#
Hold the Nimbus icon, choose App info → Reset cache on Android, or reinstall on iPhone. Synced notes download again; unsynced changes are kept in a recovery folder.
Note
If it still crashes, send us the crash report from Settings → Help → Send diagnostics.
