Every account has a test and a live environment with separate keys, data and webhooks. Here is exactly what to do.

## Steps

1. 1Use test keys while buildingTest messages are simulated and appear in the dashboard log.
2. 2Use magic numbersSend to +1 555 010 0001 to simulate “delivered”, 0002 for “failed”.
3. 3Switch to live keysLive keys start with `rk_live_`. Store them in environment variables.

Tip

Data never moves between test and live mode.
