Install the Relay SDK for Node.js, Python, PHP or Go — typed, retried and kept current with the API. Follow the steps below — it takes just a few minutes.

## Before you begin

- A Relay account and a test-mode API key
- `curl` or one of the official SDKs

## Steps

1. 1Installnpm, pip, Composer or go get — see the tabs below.
2. 2Create a clientPass your secret key from an environment variable.
3. 3Send a messageEvery SDK mirrors the REST resources: `messages.create()`.

Tip

SDKs retry safe requests automatically with exponential backoff.

## Install

Install an SDK
