Reset your password yourself in two minutes from any browser, even when you’re locked out. Follow the steps below — it takes just a few minutes.

## Before you begin

- Your Northwind employee ID
- A company-managed laptop or phone

## Steps

1. 1Go to the reset pageOpen id.northwind.example/reset from any device.
2. 2Verify with your phoneApprove the push in Okta Verify, or enter the SMS code.
3. 3Choose a new password14 characters or more. A short sentence works well.

Tip

Your Mac and VPN pick up the new password at your next sign-in.
