A blank screen usually means no power to the base — check the breaker, the furnace door and the C wire. Follow the steps below — it takes just a few minutes.

## Before you begin

- A Phillips screwdriver and the Halo app
- Power to your heating system switched off at the breaker

## Steps

1. 1Check the breakerMake sure the breaker for your heating system is on.
2. 2Close the furnace doorMany furnaces cut power when their door switch is open.
3. 3Check the C wireWithout a C wire, Halo’s battery drains. Install the power adapter.
