# Deploy automatically from GitHub

> Every push deploys, every pull request gets a preview URL and a status check.

Connecting GitHub turns on continuous deployment. Pushes to the production branch go live; other branches and pull requests get preview URLs.

## Connect a repository

1. In your project, open **Settings → Git**.
2. Click **Connect GitHub** and install the Acme Cloud app on your organization.
3. Select the repository and the production branch, usually `main`.

## Preview deployments

Each pull request gets a comment with its preview URL and a status check that blocks merging if the build fails.

## Skip a deployment

Add `[skip deploy]` to a commit message to push without deploying.
