This guide walks you through the fastest path to a live app on Acme Cloud. You need an Acme Cloud account and a Git repository with a web app in it — any framework that builds to static files or runs on Node.js 20 works.

## Create a project

1. 1Open the dashboardSign in at **app.acme.example**.
2. 2Click New projectYou find it in the top-right corner of every page.
3. 3Name itThe name becomes part of your preview URL, so keep it short.
4. 4Pick a regionChoose the region closest to most of your users — **US East (Virginia)** is the default.

Good to know

You can rename a project later; its preview URL keeps working.

## Connect your repository

Acme Cloud deploys every push to your default branch and creates a preview for every pull request.

### GitHub and GitLab

Pick your provider, authorize the Acme Cloud app and select the repository. We only request access to the repositories you choose.

### Any other Git host

Use the CLI instead and deploy from your machine or CI:

Shell

```
npm install -g @acme/cli
acme login
acme deploy --prod
```

## Check your build settings

We detect most frameworks automatically. If your app needs something different, set it under **Settings → Build**.

| Setting | Default | Example |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Build command | `npm run build` | `pnpm build` |
| Output folder | `dist` | `.next` |
| Node.js version | 20 | 22 |

## Deploy and share

Click **Deploy**. The first build usually takes one to two minutes; later builds reuse the cache and are faster. When it finishes, you get a URL like `my-app.acme.app` that you can share right away.

Tip

add a custom domain any time under **Settings → Domains**. HTTPS certificates are issued and renewed automatically.
