# Install the Acme CLI

> Install the legacy v1 command-line tool and authenticate with a personal token.

This page covers the v1 CLI, which still works for workspaces created before March 2026. New projects should use v2.

## Install

Shell

```
npm install -g acme-cli@1
```

## Authenticate

v1 uses personal tokens. Create one under **Account → Tokens** and save it:

acme config set token YOUR_TOKEN
```

## Deploy

Text

```
acme push --env production
```

Warning

The v1 CLI stops receiving security updates on December 31, 2026. Plan your move to v2 before then.
