The Acme CLI lets you deploy, tail logs and manage environment variables from your terminal or CI. Version 2 requires Node.js 18 or later when installed with npm.

## Install

### npm

Shell

```
npm install -g @acme/cli@2
```

### Homebrew (macOS and Linux)

Shell

```
brew tap acme/tap
brew install acme
```

### Standalone binary

Download the binary for your platform from the releases page, make it executable and put it on your `PATH`. This is the best option for CI images without Node.js.

## Sign in

Shell

```
acme login
# Opens your browser. In CI, use a token instead:
export ACME_TOKEN=acme_live_xxxxxxxxxxxx
```

## Verify the installation

Text

```
acme --version
# acme/2.4.1 darwin-arm64 node-v20.11.0
```

Note

Upgrading from v1? Commands are mostly the same, but `acme push` is now `acme deploy`. See the migration guide for details.
