# Invite teammates and assign roles

> Add people to your workspace and give each the right level of access.

Owners and admins can invite people by email. Invitations expire after seven days.

## Send an invitation

1. Go to **Settings → Members**.
2. Click **Invite** and enter one or more email addresses.
3. Choose a role and click **Send invites**.

## Roles

| Role | Can deploy | Can manage members | Can see billing |

| Owner | Yes | Yes | Yes |

### Changing a role

Open the member’s menu on the Members page and pick a new role. The change applies immediately, including to active CLI sessions.

## Remove a member

Removing someone revokes their sessions and API keys right away. Deployments they made stay online.
